Once again, we’re mourning the death of a gifted poet this week. Mark Strand was the Poet Laureate, a Pulitzer Prize-winner, and as I’ve heard, a wonderful teacher and mentor. His Collected Poems just came out this year.

Here, fittingly, is his poem “The End.”
